The festival begins - the raising of the thondrol, unusual in that it is painted as opposed to the more general applique
The thondrol is only raised once a year at the tsechu
The dances begin / The tsechu is hugely popular & pilgrims come from faraway to enjoy the spectacle, obtain blessings & show off their finest clothes
